Install Plugster on PrestaShop

We read your public pages and prepare them for AI assistants: a summary of your site (llms.txt), a clean version of every page, and tools they can call (MCP server). On your side, two things to do, and nothing else in your pages changes.

1. Two lines in the <head>

They tell assistants where to find the clean version of your site, and load the script that offers them its tools, along with the chat if you switch it on. Your dashboard gives you the exact lines, with your site’s address in place of <your-site>.

  1. PrestaShop has no field for adding code to the <head>: the two lines go in the theme.
  2. Open, by FTP or your host’s file manager, the file themes/<your theme>/templates/_partials/head.tpl (themes/<your theme>/header.tpl on PrestaShop 1.6).
  3. Paste the two lines at the end of head.tpl, or just before </head> in header.tpl, then save.
  4. Clear the cache: Advanced Parameters → Performance → Clear cache.
  5. A theme update replaces this file: the two lines will have to be pasted again afterwards.

2. A redirect of /llms.txt (recommended)

Assistants look for /llms.txt at the root of a domain. A redirect sends them to the one we keep up to date for you; replace <your-site> with the address your dashboard gives.

  1. PrestaShop has no redirect manager: the redirect goes in the .htaccess file at the root of the shop.
  2. Add these two lines at the very top of the file, before the # ~~start~~ line: RewriteEngine on
  3. RewriteRule ^llms\.txt$ https://plugster.ai/<your-site>/llms.txt?via=redirect [R=301,L]
  4. PrestaShop rewrites this file when the Traffic & SEO settings change, but keeps what is written before # ~~start~~.
  5. On Nginx hosting, which does not read .htaccess: add this to the site configuration: location = /llms.txt { return 301 https://plugster.ai/<your-site>/llms.txt?via=redirect; }
